Give just 5 minutes to make a difference ~ Leave 5 messages for people listed below… Call each day, 5 days this week.
Tell them that we want Hawaii’s kids back in school!
Script:
My name is ______. I want funding restored to Hawaii’s public schools so that our keiki can get the education they deserve to succeed in life. The state budget should not be balanced on the backs of our kids and their teachers.
Do it today!
On Thursday, November 5, 2009, a caucus decided not to have a special session addressing the furloughs. If they don’t hear from us, they’ll think that furloughing our children is okay! Let them know that we don’t like it and that we won’t let up until they save our schools! They heard us last week – let’s do it again!
Please give just 5 minutes each day on 5 days this week – that’s all it takes to be a part of the solution. It’s easy and empowering and can make a huge difference. Call 5 people per day.

This campaign is organized by concerned Hawaii residents like you. We are in agreement that the best tactic is to pressure state leaders to release additional funds, rollback the furloughs, and require quality education for our children. We support our teachers! We need your help. Please find us online at http://www.sos808.org/ or http://www.twitter.com/sos808.
